Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is processed by us only as necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly online presence, including its content and the services offered there.

Pursuant to Article 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means. This includes collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting, or altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing by transmission, disseminating, or otherwise making available, aligning, or combining, restricting, erasing, or destroying data.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we decide alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to improve the quality of use, provided that third parties process data under their own responsibility.

II. Rights of Users and Data Subjects

Regarding the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • To confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data being processed, to further details about the data processing, and to copies of the data (cf. Art. 15 GDPR);

  • To correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (cf. Art. 16 GDPR);

  • To the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, to the restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 17(3) GDPR and Art. 18 GDPR;

  • To receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to have this data transmitted to other providers/controllers (cf. Art. 20 GDPR);

  • To lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that their data is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (cf. Art. 77 GDPR).

 

In addition, the provider is obligated to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed about any correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing that occurs in accordance with Articles 16, 17(1), and 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if the notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Users also have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Additionally, users and data subjects have the right, under Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the future processing of their data, particularly if it is processed for direct advertising purposes in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

III. Information on Data Processing

The data processed when you use our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage ceases to apply, provided there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary, and no further details are given below regarding specific processing procedures.

Social Media Linking via Graphics or Text Links

We promote our presence on the following social networks via linked graphics. This ensures that, when accessing a website with social media links, no connection to the respective network’s servers is automatically established. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic will the user be redirected to the respective network's service.

Once the user has been redirected, the network may collect information about the user. It cannot be excluded that data collected will be processed in the USA.

This includes data such as IP address, date, time, and pages visited. If users are logged into their account on the respective network, the network provider can assign this data to their personal account. To prevent this, users must log out before clicking the graphic.

a) Use of the Wix Shop System
The provider uses the "WIX" shop system from Wix.com Ltd., Namal 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel, for displaying offers, contract processing, and hosting.

The legal basis is the initiation and/or fulfillment of a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Due to Wix's international operations, processing outside the EU cannot be ruled out. Wix ensures compliance with GDPR through measures such as EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

WIX processes the following data on behalf of the provider:
Name, email address, delivery and billing address, payment details, company name, phone number (if applicable), IP address, order details, and device/browser information.

b) Web Analytics with WIX
Cookies for web analysis are also used through WIX. These cookies transmit data such as the time, location, and frequency of website visits to WIX servers for evaluation.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as there is a legitimate interest in analyzing, optimizing, and running the website economically.

If users do not agree to the storage of cookies, they can prevent this through their browser settings.
